The location is amazing and the apartment has everything that you would need. Couldn’t really ask for anything more.

It’s super central so you have to expect city centre noise. The noise is more in the early morning than at night.

taxi could not pull up in front and I had very heavy luggage that I had to lug on the stone streets and alleys.

This was not a problem for us, but others may want to know that any taxi drop off or parking is a couple blocks away so you need to walk a few minutes with your suitcases. The downside of the location central to shops and restaurants is noise at night - not enough to keep us awake but it might bother light sleepers.

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean, comfortable, and located in a great area.

Communication with the host was slower than we expected, Additionally, while the kitchen was available, it lacked some basic essentials like salt, which would have made cooking more convenient. Due to the central location, it can be noisy at night during weekdays, which might be something to keep in mind for light sleepers.

I have been staying at this hotel since 2016 and have seen it go through multiple name changes. Over the years, the amenities and quality of service had been steadily declining, and honestly, the only reason I kept returning was its convenient location. However, under the new ownership, the place has undergone a remarkable transformation. The rooms have been remodeled, more utensils have been added to the kitchen, and the furniture has been completely upgraded. These improvements have given the hotel a fresh and modern feel. The hotel is now 100% Shabbat-friendly, which is a great improvement for those observing. They provide a hot plate, a hot water urn, and a Shabbat key! If you’ve stayed here in the past and were hesitant to return, I’d recommend giving it another chance. It’s a completely different experience now, for the better.

One significant drawback is the bed situation. What’s advertised as a full bed is actually two twin-sized beds pushed together. This creates a gap in the middle, and the beds tend to slide apart, making it impossible to sleep comfortably in the center.
