Brand new build in a neighborhood of gracious historic homes. High quality construction and immaculately finished and maintained. Beautiful hard wood floors. All aspects very modern without losing the historic atmosphere. A very comfortable apartment. Hosts, Logan and John, very hospitable and very responsive to any needs / requests and made the experience very pleasant and seamless. They live next door, so efficient problem solving capability - though we had none to solve. Beds: King in one bedroom, 2 queens in other. Both rooms very spacious. Very comfortable mattresses with high quality bed linen; pillows plentiful. Bathrooms en suite each room. Very modern, classy. With excellent hot water. Tub in the king room. Kitchen very modern, open plan, pristine, well equipped. Did appreciate having an electric kettle. Neighborhood: Church Hill, gracious historic neighborhood with up market corner restaurants and coffee shops / bakeries within several blocks. 2 across the street really excellent. Very safe with safe street parking; no bars on windows or doors of homes. Many families out walking children and dogs. 2 good playgrounds within several blocks Across the street from Chimborazo Civil War Hospital Museum National Park in a 30 acre park. Very walkable neighborhood. Good bus service; stops within a block.

USThe comfortable beds and knowing the owners were right on property.
USLogan and John were excellent hosts. John even carried my suitcase up and down the stairs for me. The duplex was adorable and tastefully decorated. There's a front porch and a balcony off the second bedroom with a gas fire pit. Very relaxing.
The only thing I really didn't like was the steep stairs, but that was mostly because after falling at the Richmond Raceway it was painful getting up and down the stairs.
USGreat location near multiple parks for daily walks and not far from downtown and VCU
Unit is on the second floor which is fine but the stairs are steep in case that might be an issue for some.
USThis is an apartment, so we were responsible for our own breakfasts. The apartment is located in a really nice neighborhood with several restaurants within easy walking distance. The apartment is clean, modern and private. Highly recommended!
