SOFI HOME BERGAMO

The location features a secure entrance and a thorough check-in process, and the place was spotless. We didn’t use the kitchen much, just borrowed a knife, and as we’re deaf, we didn’t interact much with the owners, which made for a peaceful stay. It’s clear they really care about their home, and it was stunning to see the interior. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

The location is definitely the strongest point of this place, with security cameras providing some reassurance. However, as a solo woman, I felt unsafe walking around. During our stay, six other guests and a family lived there, and we shared two bathrooms. We were initially told we could use both, but the next day, I received a message suggesting we stick to the bathroom next to our room to allow others access. Unfortunately, when I really needed to use the restroom, that bathroom was occupied for over half an hour. It was pretty frustrating!

The room itself is wonderful, it looks like the gorgeous lamp is welcoming you and the marble floor is very beautiful. the beds were comfortable and we also managed to wash and dry clothes on the balcony. very close to the train station and the main streets of the city. The host Marco arranged the online check in, even let us come earlier.

Despite the beauty of the room, I’d like to note that the owners spent most of the time here, on the kitchen. So if you want to have more privacy you may try another option. It’s very controversial so the room is perfect, the shared bathroom is perfect too, but this option I would recommend only to extrovert people. Also during the first night, around 2 am someone tried to unlock our door, it wasn’t something criminal, just a late guest tried to find her room, but she did it so loudly, she barely broke the door. So again, if you care about privacy, think twice, but the room itself is perfect, wonderful, gorgeous. Thanks.

Nice atmosphere, very close to both railway station and city center!

We loved the place, just what I was looking for when travelling in Italy! We had a nice room that accomodated all four of us. Check-in was made very fast and easy via communication in WhatsApp. There was water and coffee capsules (the coffee was good!) in our room waiting for us. Everything was clean. Maria helped us whenever we needed, very lovely! Also, a nice breakfast place was in a few minutes walk, also the bus station. It was easy to reach when coming from Bergamo airport. Thanks!

Location was perfect easy to find and access. Situated close to the station and many bars and shops nearby. The host Marco is amazing and very practical. We did not have fans and he immediately provided us with it. He also gave us a very detailed list of local restaurants to try out which we found useful. We did not use the kitchen so we don't know but it looked equipped. But the apartment was calm and quiet and we had a nice stay even though we shared the bathroom with other guests it was always clean.

For the price one can get an entire apartment or private bathroom but I guess its location made up for it.

Very clean, nice location (directly in front of the train station). Marco was very arranging and welcoming. The room is very large and comfortable with a little balcony so very convenient for family stay.

The location of the accommodation was convenient as it is close to the train station. The new and old town centre is within walking distance. The room and the bathroom were well-maintained.

The room was really hot because there was no AC.
