Yenros Raja Ampat

We stayed in an over-the-water bungalow and were the only guests during our stay, giving us exclusive access to a "private" beach that was very clean and free of plastic—an absolute treat. The bungalow itself was lovely: clean, with a large fan and an effective mosquito net. However, the toilet and shower facilities could use some maintenance. While the toilet was standard and the shower had good water pressure, the area was quite dark and not as clean as we would have liked. The host family was incredibly welcoming, and the food they prepared was amazing. Booking trips in the area proved to be a bit challenging, and prices for activities were relatively high. That said, overall, it was a very pleasant and memorable experience.

I stayed at a couple of different places in Raja Ampat and this was the best one. The bungalows are spacious and clean, with much more privacy than other homestays, and the shower facilities are good. Melki is an amazing and responsive and flexible host who provided delicious and varied food to us, helped organize nearby bird watching and village tours, and was always able to quickly organize a boat ride to Kri, Wasai, or anywhere else. The location, reef, and area around Yenros are stunning.
