A very standard room but it provided everything you really need. Not comfortable but sufficient and clean. The location is perfect, close to beach and restaurants. And it was just a few minutes walk to the bus terminal.

The bed was small

The accommodation was recommended to me and it was just as described. Good quiet airconditioning. Close to the beach. Quiet.

There was no breakfast.

Really nice hostess (: There’s drinking water (hot and cold) outside for free use ((: and bananas and coffee/tea in the morning!

Lady Gaga (the owner) is the most sweet, kind and loving person, always ready to help with anything. The place is located in the heart of Port Barton with everything close by, the rooms are very clean and spacious and you have a lovely patio to hangout. Also free coffee and drinking eater. Will definitely stay again if I come back to Port Barton

Giving this a 9/10 for budget accommodation, because it is genuinely one of the best places you can find in Port Barton. If you’re after a private budget accomodation in the centre of town near the beach, this is it. Bed was relatively comfy, room was big enough, bathroom was spacious. Great (hot and cold) water pressure in shower. It’s one of the few places in Port Barton that doesn’t require a mosquito net for your stay, and we had no mosquitoes come in our entire time there (3 days). Pao Pao and ‘Lady Gaga’ are a lovely couple, who will give you great tips on where to eat, and are very accommodating of your needs throughout your stay. Pao Pao also runs island hopping tours (lots of snorkelling!) and at a very good rate for the area. He and Gaga can also organise your transport to El Nido and Puerto Princesa. Overall, we loved our stay here and would very much come back again. 100% a 9/10 for private budget accommodation in Port Barton, in a great location (1 min walk from the beach), with truly welcoming and hospitable hosts :)

Only downsides were that the bed sheet was a bit small and thin for two people, the A/C unit leaked a bit of a puddle onto the floor, and the toilet is very close to the door (but this does make the shower much more spacious - if you don’t mind an open shower)
