GBI liaised with the hosts over messages and they were very accommodating and helpful - offering flexible check-in times since we were travelling with our baby. The layout of the flat was great, with a spacious and airy main bedroom.
Unfortunately the flat was very unclean, which made our stay quite unpleasant. There was food and dirt on the surfaces and carpet and even some rubbish left under the dining table. I’ve since seen that another reviewer who stayed immediately before us had the same issues, meaning the property had been in this state for multiple visitors. This made us question whether the beds/towels had been changed and made us very uncomfortable. The kitchen counter and bathroom sink/toilet had been cleaned, but this was the extent of the cleaning - other areas had what looked like months’ worth of dirt on them. It was such a shame as this flat has potential to be a lovely place, but the level of uncleanliness was simply unacceptable as a paying guest, especially since we were with our inquisitive toddler.

the surrounding area was litter strewn and unwelcoming ( not the owners fault of course ) the stairwell up to the flat was dirty and had not been vacuumed. the lounge and main bedroom had not been vacuumed The kitchen worksurfaces were dirty there was food in the fridge from a previous guest.. or tenant. the microwave was not clean big cobwebs in main bedroom The metal bedframe in the 2nd room creaked every time I moved the décor needs refreshing and furniture is mismatched / vert dated and could really do with being replaced. there was no effort in making the flat welcoming or appealing

GBOverall a very nice stay, the host met me at the property slightly before check in time to accomodate me as I was traveling with 2 children. Beautiful location, you can see the sea from the kitchen window, and the beach is literally at your door step.
I would say cleanliness wasn't the best, generally ok but visible dust and some dead insects on the windows. There were some nails coming out from the floor, and only one roll of industrial tissue paper (not toilet paper) for the 4 of us and 2 nights.
