DEgepflegtes, gut ausgestattetes Appartement in schöner Bucht, sehr sauber und ruhig. Zugang ins Meer sehr einfach durch eine kurze Kiesel-Passage zwischen den Felsen. Gute Restauerants in Fußreichweite. Perfekte Lage für die Erkundung der Mani und abendlichen Ausflug nach Aeropoli.

GBFirstly Spiros, the owner has received good personal reviews in the past and I found these to be quite justified. He was very hospitable, available, informative and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet him. As for the apartment, it was perfect for me as a solo traveller, and I imagine it would be for a couple too. It was clean and tidy and had everything I needed. I slept at night with the sounds of the sea and the sea breeze for company. I spent some time relaxing on the balcony overlooking the bay, much better than any sunbed. If you want to swim, there is a handy access point just opposite the apartment, important because the beaches here are rocky and difficult. Once you get out to sea the water is very clean. As I went in mid May the sea was still a bit cold but being English, I swam once or twice every day and always had the bay to myself! It gave me an appetite for the Karavostasi and Oitylo restaurants, which are good quality and cheaper than the more touristic Limeni. All in all a week very well spent.
I should have hired a car to get the best out of this visit. There are things worth seeing in this part of Laconia but they are all spread out so walking to them is not an option and bus services are poor. In addition the taxi transfer from Kalamata airport via Welcome Pickups cost me twice as much as my flights to Greece from Gatwick and back - absurd. Hire a car.

RSGRThe area is magical. infront of the sea with amazing view which you can enjoy in the very spacefull balcony with Jacuzzi. The vibes you get from the nature ,with or without nice weather ,is priceless. From there you can do everyday excursions to the most famous but also hidden places of Mani. Also a very big thanks to the owner for the warm welcome and the attention to his guests
