"Uncomfortable bed, noisy traffic"

Close to the airport. Good shower. Clean.

Very bad/old sagging mattress, needs to be replaced urgently. Very busy road with heavy traffic all night long. So only possible to sleep with the windows closed. Bathroom with shower is downstairs, bedrooms are upstairs. (There is a bathroom with toilet upstairs though.)

I have been welcomed very warmly by the family. The house is in very good condition, and I received a thorough briefing about the air conditioning system and the general setup of the house. The hospitality cannot be described in words. They provided me with water and refreshments in the fridge, including the famous Sicilian blood oranges. The accommodation was quiet, very clean, and its proximity to cafes always gave me the opportunity to have a snack/meal or enjoy an Italian espresso in the morning. Overall, I was pleasantly impressed by the hospitality and the general experience at "The Airport House". I can definitely recommend this place! Once again, Grazie mille!
