Emuna Guest house

Breakfast was good and the host prepares nice dinner for 100 mex pesos. The property has charm but lacks of proper management, staff and cleanliness. I got a free ride to the bus terminal from the host.

The property lacked of proper cleaning in general, dorms, pools, common areas, etc. You will be stepping on dog shit multiple times per day. Also, the host lives there with his family and during my stay I was the only guest with my couple. The worst was my last day when I spent a whole day in the property without electricity with 30 plus degrees, no fans, no chargers’ no internet, it was a terrible experience. I’m still waiting for booking customer service to get back to me.

Roberto is a super nice guy, very pleasant and does great breakfast for the guests every morning. Comfy bed and spacious room.

The cleanliness was just not up to standard, particularly in the bathroom and outside areas (the pool was not appealing at all). Also it’s more like a three house (prepared to feel a breeze) which is fine but not obvious from the pictures.

The location was great, a short walk to the main street. The place was cute, breakfast 👌🏼 and host, plus Marley and Messy, friendly. We got tips and advice from the host when asked. We slept well, the bed was comfy.

The room looked rough, but there was places where to put our belongings.

Roberto is an excellent host. A great place to socialize, chill out, work, relax. Excellent location. WiFi was great. A very unique homestay. Lovely breakfast included. Marley is the cutest dalmation!

Cleaning standards can be raised a little ;)

Roberto and his dog Marley were lovely and very friendly. The location is great, and breakfast was good. The Hammocks outside are cozy and the recommendations of Roberto were good. (Look out for Alberto and Christina, the two lizards living on the yard wall!)

The cleanliness could be better. Also a lot seems to be a bit of work in progress, which makes it a bit messy here and there. You should be aware that there will be all sorts of animals around, since it is an rather open space!

Roberto is a great host, helping with everything (tours, pick-ups/drop-offs, cooking…)! Location right at the beach in La Punta is also fantastic, other beaches and the center of Puerto Escondido are really easy to reach by scooter/moto. As you can see in the pictures, the guesthouse itself is simple but has everything you need!

Roberto is a stellar host and made us feel at home with family. The guest house is next to the beach and close to everything in la Punta. Most reliable wi-fi around with Starlink!

Everything is super pretty with a lot of charm, and Roberto makes you feel at home instantly. Highly recommend!
