We were bike packing the Pacific cycle route and this guesthouse is on the route so very convenient. Lovely family rum establishment with everyone making a real effort to please. Magnificent meals. Highly recommended

We had a great stay at Kii no Matsushima. The host was incredibly welcoming and the food was amazing. We arrived after dark in the town from our hiking trip and she waited for us in the car along the path to pick us up. Next day she even prepared a small lunch for us to take on our hike. Highly recommended!

It's a classy ryokan with an indoor hot spa room. Come for the food, some of the best along the Iseji. Hosts are exceptionally kind and attentive.
