Aura Villas Tinos

Tolle Lage der Unterkunft. Tinos ist eine wunderschöne Insel.

Leider gab es in der Umgebung Bauarbeiten, wodurch es sehr laut war. Aber das Management der Anlage hat sofort reagiert und kam uns preislich entgegen.

Nice location to relax and enjoy the tranquility. It was nice to have a pool of our own. Very friendly concierge who could immediately help us when the shower drain was clogged.

The quality of the house (finishing materials used, equipment,...) felt a bit cheap and already showed signs of wear and usage, even though the building is quite recently built. The pool was rather cold (we went there mid-september).

Our suite was very spacious and decorated to a very high standard. Very comfortable beds and really nice furniture. Great views of the bay and magnificent sunsets. Wifi was good throughout Note that you need a car to get to and from Aura Villas. Tinos town is a 12 minute drive, some of it on an unoaved road, which is easily driveable. Dimitris is a fantastic host, with great suggestions about places to visit on Tinos. Nothing is too much trouble. Very nice selection of fruit and food to keep us going for the first couple of days.

We can't really fault Aura Villas. One small thing is that, because of their orientation, some more shade would be really nice in the outside sitting area to enjoy sitting out a bit more during the day. But I can appreciate that this is difficult given the need to maintain the local style of the villas.

New build, comfortable, clean. Nice personal plunge pool and very close to a lovely beach.

Next to a building site that was noisy. It was advertised as ‘self-catering’ but there was no dishwasher, no microwave and not even a tea towel or a plug for the kitchen sink - very poor.

The most beautiful villa, wonderfully designed, elegant, minimal and clean with hints at the Cycladic nature. The pool is just blissful and the views are indescribably spectacular, just truly captivating. It’s a place of magic, the sunsets are soul replenishing, and the people just the same. Definitely need a car. Short distance from Tinos town and kionia, which has beautiful beaches and must see Temple of Poseidon.

During the stay was a lot of noise due to construction works happening, and the only restaurant in walking distance was closed. However, Dimitris done everything possible to make my stay pleasant - and it was lovely. Typically it would have been enough to impact the holiday, as I chose this particular spot to switch off and relax and it did, but because of the customer service and the villa itself I’m excited to return next year.

De accommodatie zelf was fantastisch: modern, nieuw, hygiënisch en zeer netjes. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd en het verblijf was zeer comfortabel. Echter, de toegangsweg is echt een punt van aandacht en maakt het bereiken van de accommodatie lastig.

De weg naar de accommodatie is ronduit slecht en zeer steil. Het is duidelijk dat deze nog verder moet worden ontwikkeld en aangelegd, wat de bereikbaarheid een groot probleem maakt.
