South Sands Hotel

Firstly re room size,, we were upgraded to their family interconnected 2 rooms. Each small but adequate, and just right for a beach hotel. A really lovely walk in shower. We ate in the Rock Salt cafe. Good food and menus, reasonably priced. Loved the dog cartoon pictures there. Staff excellent helpful and friendly.

It is a beach hotel, so don’t expect deep pile carpets etc. Disadvantage of sea view rooms was road noise if the window was open, but excellent double glazing meant shutting the window worked.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Lage war super. Sie Aussicht aus dem Zimmer aufs Meer war ebenfalls sehr schön.

Das Continental-Frühstück war etwas limitiert. Wir hätten uns mehr frischere Produkte gewünscht. Das Zimmer war etwas klein, wenn man zwei Koffer öffnen möchte.

Friendly staff, nice decor and facilities, good food.

No shower over the bath - looks like there was one in the past.

Fantastic location just over the road from an amazing beach. Our meals were lovely, well catered for gluten free options, staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms small and clean but are in need of a little update.

Elephants in room above. As we booked through booking .com we only had continental breakfast and had to pay extra for cooked.

The gentleman at reception was brilliant and saved my day. He kindly printed my document for the meeting in the morning. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good. Mattress was not good.
