Wonderful Oasis right at the beach

Superb location right on the beach, amazing pool

The room was very hot and lacked AC. There was only one fan which wasn't sufficient to cool both beds. The dinner was very average, few choices and overpriced.

A lovely hotel straight on Jambiani Beach. It’s beautiful and we love it. It’s small, just six rooms so this guarantees your calm and peace. There is a common space with comfortable sofas where you can sit and read a book. There is a nice swimming pool with some deckchairs near it where you can sunbathe and relax. They serve huge and varied breakfasts which are nicely served. Lunch and dinner are delicious but a bit pricey. There are bars and restaurants around that are cheaper but still very tasty so we dine out. The staff are nice and kind. The room is spacious, with a big double bed and a big bathroom. It is cleaned on a daily basis. We had a fantastic time in Jambiani.

It was my wife’s birthday holiday and we told the staff about it in advance, however, there was no birthday surprise from the hotel; bit disappointing. We book a garden room which is discounted (without the discount we wouldn’t come here as the price is quite high) which is rather dark. It has three windows but two of them have built-in blinds so you can’t move them. The window has no other protection so you can’t open it and leave the room. There is no air-condition in the room, just a fan and that makes some of the hot nights a bit hard. There is an obligatory chargé of 1$/person/day for drinking water (!) which was not mentioned while booking the hotel; that is surprising. They have some problems with electricity/water/internet but it may be a common problem on the island. Trips offered in the hotel are quite expensive so we book many with the beach boys.

The the bedroom, room was perfect, the toilet was on the middle, leaving soace between the bedrooms. When u open door u see this sofas with great view like on the pictures. The hotel have more privacy from the beach wich is good, coz no random ppl coming there only few ppl who staying in the hotel, breakfast was clean natural food.

Airconditioner, would be even better. But can manage whitout also. The road to find there was dificult for every taxi guy. So maybe some signs for people who drive how to get there.

The fresh fruit for breakfast daily was out of this world. However everything else was terrible, everything had to be asked for which I found odd.

The property manager. Some arrogant rude Italian woman with zero hospitality training. Perhaps she was put off by the fact that we were black. But she was rude & dismissive.

Location was excellent, on the beach. Dinner was superb offering a good variety. Staff very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was very comfortable and clean.

The holiday started on a disappointing note when the hotel did not arrange a transfer from the airport as requested by me and as confirmed by the hotel. There was no courtesy coffee or tea in the rooms and we could only have coffee with our meals.

Great small lodge with great amenities including pool, great meals as well as attentive staff.

Location was great and facilities were clean and in good order

It is unfortunately surrounded by a residential area, with no facilities such as parks or soccer fields for school kids to play after school.. The beach which is of course a public space becomes a no go area with several groups of young boys competing in informal soccer matches in the afternoon. It would be an idea for property owners along the beachfront to collectively contribute towards the development of such parks and soccer fields facilities along with the local government as the beachfront would become more conducive to attracting tourists and guests to their facilities all year round.

Food was not great and i think the hotel is a bit overpriced
