Royal Oak Ramsden

Gorgeous pub and inn set in an idyllic picturesque village. Room was very well equipped and comfortable, if not a tad small. Bathroom was a good size with the best shower! We had a delicious dinner and breakfast with excellent service from the fabulous staff.

Lovely quiet village with typical Cotswold houses. Beautiful church.

Limited choice for continental breakfast. No choice of cheeses or cold meats, muesli or granola. Only whole fruit available- could have more variety such as strawberries, blueberries etc. Different types of breads would have been nice not just brioche.

1) Ramsden is a characterful Cotswolds hamlet. 2) characterful pub and restaurant. 3) comfortable spacious room with nice view a bath and power shower. 4) ability to have a good enough dinner in the pub 5) could watch i-player on the TV

1) the full english breakfast is excellent but if you don't want a full english the breakfast is extremely limited (no toast, marmalade, muesli, genola, natural yogurt or chopped up fresh fruit). 2) the dinner menu is limited and was the same both nights. 3) can't have breakfast before 8:30am.

The accommodation was 2 floors up in the attic, not suitable for a dog, incredibly hot, we checked out the same day we checked in.

- sehr gastfreundlich - schönes geräumiges Zimmer - schönes Ambiente im Restaurant

- leider sehr steile enge Treppe zum Zimmer - leider wurde aufgrund von Bauarbeiten schon um 6:30 Uhr begonnen - Frühstücksauswahl etwas reduzierter wie das letzte Mal (z.B. gab es ausschließlich Brioch als Brot)
