Pheasant's Hollow

Excellent flat that was tastefully decorated, a little tired in places, but overall excellent. The bed mattress and pillows were very comfortable. A great touch having a dressing gown and slippers to use. Excellent instructions and recommendations of places to visit. Great functioning kitchen with everything you need. I would definitely return.

The kitchen parquet floor needs attention as some parquet blocks move. The bath even though a great feature of the flat, I would question if it’s practicable if 4 guests were using the flat also the older generation could struggle accessing the bath, a small step is provided. A large shower maybe more functional. However it was lovely having a soak in the bath. A shoe horn would be useful for guests. Improved lighting in the entrance hall as only 3 out of 5 light bulbs were working and very dimly lit. Plus maybe a motion sensing light outside giving better lighting to the key box in the dark.

The decor was lovely and the apartment was very spacious, with two good sized bedrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and it was warm. It was quiet and the area was a 15 minute walk into the centre. The parking space is good.

The bath has been mentioned in other reviews, but it really is tricky to get in and out of, and there is no shower in the apartment - so if you have any mobility issues I would say this isn't the place for you. The apartment is reached via an entrance to the back of the proper which isn't well lit - so make sure you have a torch on your phone!

Charming, quirky with a classical interior decoration. Fantastic bath and comfy beds.

The water pressure seemed to worsen as our stay went on and the TV is a bit dainty.

This is a fantastic apartment full of character in a great location. Very cosy and well priced with on site parking. The owner goes above and beyond in making you feel welcome and ensuring you have everything you need or want at hand.

The owner was amazing, quirky place with tasteful Xmas decorations. Clean and great location. 4 minute bus to town centre, if there is a group of you (4) the taxi is cheaper £6

Some of the soft furnishings ie single bed and sofas could do with being replaced. Bath tub is amazing but some less able people will struggle getting in an out

Great decor. Cosy feel. Loved the real Christmas tree!
