Coquet Nest AMBLE

Coquet Nest was spotless, much bigger than we expected and in an absolutely brilliant location to get to the harbour and to Warkworth. As a base for a long weekend being out and about exploring, it ticked all the boxes. Don't let Google Street View put you off. The entrance is along an alley and it doesn't look the prettiest, but we had no issues. If you're after views and a garden to relax in, this isn't for you, but if you want a base to eat, sleep and watch a bit of TV on an evening whilst you explore the area then this was great.

Only 3 dining chairs. We’re a family of four, so this was a problem. Loss of electrics in the kitchen.

Comfortable apartment in Amble. Good location close to harbour and estuary - beautiful views of the river from close to the house. Lovey restaurants in walking distance. Went on a seal trip around Croquet Island.

The apartment was on a street behind the High Street, so the views from the windows were on to the street

Location. Spacious. Facilities good. Close to amenities. Parking. Access. Comfortable beds pillows and linen. Nice towels. Good shower.

No hooks in bathroom or anywhere to put clothes other than the floor, the radiator didn’t work and there wasn’t a toilet brush either. Noise from the people in flat above, it sounded like they were in the room with me, I think it was due to insulation. The blind couldn’t be opened in one bedroom. No instructions on appliances or about parking, or disposal of waste.
