Riad LALLA JIHANE

The pool, even we didn't swim ,becouse was cold period of the year. The Lobby area, the rooftop was ok. And the shower looks good and special ,becouse was separate from the toilet.

The entry, there was no sign and name for the Riad. For this small streets , where GPS can not find the exact location , have to be SIGN on the entry. Especially of the locals , especially kids , who are anoing when thay see that you don't know where it is. Who are telling you where to , where not to go etc... We had a feeling that the Riad is connected with tham, trying to help tham, to get more attention ( more tip, money) ... for "helping the lost tourist people". Thay know about that, and still don't put one sign. The stuff is not friendly, acting arrogant, not helping you (exept one really friendly guy), telling us thay don't have wifi exact that day becouse of the street cable problem, while there was wifi, that we found out layter. We ask than to organise us shutle taxi, and thay offer us for 25 euros out of the medina, meeting point taxi (while we found by our salve taxi just 3min walk from the riad for 15 euro) We ask for early breakfast, or breakfast to go, becouse we chek out at 6.30... thay told us thay will organise us a breakfast to go, in the fridge... but next day , there was nothing ( there were 2 pices of pancakes rolled in plastic foil, looks like some joke) was it? There was mold on the walls, condensation, in the sleeping room , and around ... we were in many riads in Marrakesh and thay were way more friendly and worm... on the pictures the rooms look bigger and comfortable not like in real...

Cerca de la medina pero lo suficientemente lejos para poder descansar.

La habitación era lamentable. Al tener tan buena nota pensé que estaria genial. Lejos de la realidad , todo lleno de humedades y hongos en la pared. Había 4 deshumidificadores en la habitación. Dos de ellos en la cama. Con un ruido tremendo y constante,, era ruido o poder respirar...la recepción nos dijo que sabían del problema de esa habitación, pero que aún así la seguían alquilando y no nos daban otra solución. Tampoco funcionaba el aire acondicionado. Se aprovechan de que están en Marruecos con el turista europeo. Saben que no te vas a ir... El que se puso en contacto conmigo para mandarme la ubicación fue muy amable conmigo hasta que le comunique el problema. Me dejó de contestar y ya está. No estaba muy limpio tampoco que se diga... Si te toca la habitación que está justo al lado de la piscina, que el señor se apiade de tu alma, amigo viajero.

Location was decent - in the Medina and walking distance to the souks, but not super close to any of the main tourist attractions. Most of the staff were welcoming and kind. Our family room was a good size for the four of us (cozy, but more spacious than another Riad we stayed at).

We had no internet for the duration of our 3 night stay. This was not the hotel's fault (it was neighborhood-wide), but they did nothing to try to make up for it. They charge 3 euros for a tiny coffee (and this is only available after 9am), despite breakfast being included. Also, when we arrived late at night, there was no fitted sheet on our bed (only a flimsy mattress cover) and the young staff member didn't know where the sheets were kept. We eventually found one and made our own bed. Finally, the property has the potential to be really beautiful, but it needs some de-cluttering and maintenance to get there.

Staff is non-existent there is nobody at the reception. The TV on the ground floor is On most of the day so the noise is not ideal for resting. The swimming pull was dirty. The location is definitely not the best.

La atención del personal y la ubicación: Todos los empleados del RIAD eran extremadamente amables y serviciales. La ubicación era excelente, dentro de la medina. En 10 minutos llegabas a la plaza principal.

Habían ciertos detalles como falta de jabón en las habitaciones o toallas de mano. Tampoco funcionaba el WI-Fi ni la televisión, pero eran detalles menores. Supongo que "mala suerte" coicincidiendo con la estancia. El desayuno era siempre lo mismo, pero sin queja.

The staff was lovely and very attentive, we had a very large room and we very much appreciated that the cleaning of the room was done daily. The complimentary breakfast was also very nice gesture. Breakfast was served from 9-11 and was quite simple but lovely and filling.

Some of the features of the room could be improved, like the tv did not work at all, there was no soap to wash hands and even though I always left the empty dose on the side of the sink to be re-filled, it was always just placed back where it was originally, empty. The location is not great, the area around riad is really offputting and riad is located a little off the main attraction zone but easily walkable everywhere in the city.
