OcamOcam Azur Inn

Un cadre exceptionnel depuis notre bungalow avec une vue magnifique sur Ocam Ocam et Black Island, l’accueil chaleureux de Rachel et Marmar, et le caractère sauvage du lieu : petit-déjeuner à quelques mètres de singes, rencontres avec des insectes insolites et des geckos fascinants. Pour ceux qui tiennent absolument à un confort matériel classique — eau chaude à volonté, calme total pour dormir — cet endroit n’est pas fait pour vous. Ici, l’expérience est avant tout naturelle et authentique, avec son charme sauvage et ses petits imprévus qui font tout le caractère du lieu.

De communicatie met hotel was niet goed. Ze wilden ons niet helpen bij wijziging van onze plannen door overmacht. Zo hebben w volledig moeten betalen voor iets waar we geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt. De locatie is ver gelegen in een omgeving waar niets te doen is.

Le lieu était paisible, la vue sur la mer incroyable, l'accueil et l'accompagnement de l'équipe et en particulier de Marmar dans nos excursions exceptionnels! La piscine était très agréable, le restaurant au top, le logement pas très grand mais suffisant pour des vacances. La végétation environnante et ses habitants, oiseaux, lézards, insectes peut surprendre mais pour nous c'était magnifique. Pour ceux qui recherchent l'authenticité et les rencontres, cet hôtel est fait pour vous. De plus, la proximité avec le dugong watching et black island nous a permis de faire de belles et longues balades. PS j'oubliais les couchers de soleils de notre terrasse rouge intenses!

Absolument rien!

Wij hebben enorm genoten. Super vriendelijk personeel die je overal bij willen helpen Fijne huisjes met leuke balkonnetjes met prachtig uitzicht. Je moet wel goed ter been zijn want er het ligt op een heuvel en er zijn overal trappen. Een heerlijk zwembad! Het strand vlakbij is een goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes. Black island en zwemmen.met zeekoeien (een aanrader!)

Er viel ons weinig tegen. Alleen hangt ee een niet al te frisse rioollucht in de badkamer. Daar kan het hotel waarsch niks aan doen. De douche heeft niet echt warm water, meer lauw/ koud. Maar dat is verder geen probleem met de temperaturen in de Filippijnen.

Communication in english was poor when ordering food. When using free shuttle to ocam ocam beach it was hard to call for pickup (no signal) or we have to wait long for pick up.

We weren’t given a key to the room for our 2 night stay. The initial welcome was underwhelming and it felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff being there. The pool was ok but not kept clean of leaves and bugs. It is also about a mile to the beach and some other restaurants so a bit isolated. Boat trips were expensive and there was no effort made to find other guests or people to share the costs. It felt like the attitude was “you can afford it if you can afford to stay here”.

The view from the room was simply stunning.

It was very basic for the price.
