Beautifully clean, roomy, well presented and well appointed unit recently? renovated with modern decor. Big bathroom with a great shower. Comfy bed with gorgeous pillows! Cant say enough. Wonderful welcome on our arrival by Michelle and Terry who went out of their way to make our stay most enjoyable!

We had a wonderful stay at Elmwood Motel and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that a great deal of care and attention goes into maintaining the property to a very high standard. Our unit had been recently renovated and was beautifully presented, with stylish, modern furnishings that created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The space itself was generous, allowing us to relax comfortably, and it was equipped with everything we needed for a few nights in Christchurch. What stood out most was the exceptional cleanliness, everything was immaculate, fresh, and clearly very well cared for, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. The bed was a great size and incredibly comfortable, complemented by high quality linen that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom was equally impressive, with excellent water pressure in the shower and lovely toiletries provided, which felt like a thoughtful touch. There is also a charming café just a few minutes’ walk down the road, which was perfect for a relaxed coffee outing. When we checked out, we asked if it would be possible to store our bags for a couple of hours while we went out for coffee, and the manager was very accommodating and happy to assist, which we really appreciated. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend The Elmwood Motel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and great value place to stay in Christchurch.

size of the pillows, I grabbed a cushion and popped a pillow case on that as the pillow options were way too big
