Azores Haven Hill

The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Super comfy beds. The pool was also great. And sitting having dinner savoring the view was wonderful. We loved that there were horses nearby that we could see. The owner was very accommodating - went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. There isn't one thing we can think of that was missing.

We loved everything about this property! It was immaculately clean and it was so comfortable. My husband and I had the downstairs king bedroom with a large bath, our baby granddaughter had the adjoining room and her parents were upstairs in the large bedroom with bath. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed cooking there as well as eating out. The views of the harbor and the sea are gorgeous and the house is on the side of a hill just above the downtown area. It is very private and buffered from the street by fields with horses. The supermarket is two blocks away and the harbor is about a kilometre. The host, Laurentius, is a delightful gentleman and communication both before and during our visit was excellent!

We loved everything. Recycling is very important on the island so make sure you sort your trash, separating glass, plastic, paper food waste and general garbage. The bins are a block and a half away. I wish I had known that from the beginning so I could have done a better job with it. Our kids got there before we did and might have missed that in the welcome meeting with the host.

Prachtig uitzicht over de baai van Horta naar Pico. Locatie is op loopafstand van het centrum van Horta. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, de tuin heeft een groot terras met keuze uit schaduw of zon en natuurlijk het zwembad. In het huis stille airconditioning in de woonkamer en slaapkamers, vaatwasmachine wasmachine , grote koelkast, alles wat je nodig hebt in de keuken . We komen graag nog eens terug.

The place was new, and everything was excellent, property manager met us and went over everything.

La gentillesse et la disponibilité du propriétaire. Nous sommes arrivés à 20h15 le samedi soir et ne pouvions récupérer notre voiture de location que le dimanche après-midi, le propriétaire du logement nous a accompagné au supermarché pour que nous puissions faire quelques courses et nous a attendu pour nous ramener à la maison. La maison est grande et très bien placée : proche du centre et de la marina (10 à 15 min à pied) mais très au calme. Les chevaux dans le pré jouxtant la maison et appartenant au propriétaire étaient un vrai bonheur pour les enfants qui sont allés les caresser tous les jours.

L'obligation de devoir enfermer toute l'alimentation dans le réfrigérateur et de s'assurer de ne laisser aucune miette sur la table ou par terre sous peine d'être envahi de fourmis...

Maison et espace extérieurs très agréables, très bien entretenus. Propreté impeccable des lieux, linge de maison également. La piscine et la grande terrasse bénéficient de cette magnifique vue dont on ne se lasse pas. Une belle ambiance qui évolue au fur et à mesure de la lumière de la journée. En soirée : éclairage très apprécié de la terrasse et de la piscine si on le souhaite. La vue est juste incroyable !! Admirer chaque jour le Pico est une chance de chaque instant, cela procure à ce lieu une touche poétique ! Ainsi que l emplacement en hauteur qui domine la belle ville de Horta et le grand port. Endroit très calme et pas loin à pied du centre ville et du meilleur glacier! Le supermarché est à 10 minutes à pied. Laurentius le propriétaire nous a réservé un très bon accueil. Très disponible avant par message il l a été aussi pendant notre séjour pour trouver rapidement les réponses à nos questions d organisation d activités (nous n avions pas réservé au niveau des sorties ni même de voiture!)

Rien car tout était absolument parfait pendant notre séjour !

Laurentius was a great host, and the house that he spent two years renovating is absolutely stunning. The view over the town of Horta and mount Pico for breakfasts on the terrace is simply amazing. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. We loved the pool and Laurentius' horses nearby

Everything was great and close to perfection. The kids could have used a toaster in the morning, this is litterally the only thing I could think of as "improvement"

Een erg ruim huis met alles erop en aan. Zelfs doucheschuim, vaatwastabletten en waspoeder, koffie en thee. Fenomenaal uitzicht op de haven en omgeving.

Er viel niks tegen. Waar je wel rekening mee moet houden is dat t huis op n heuvel ligt. Als je dus s avonds naar t centrum loopt is de terugweg heuvelop. Wel goed te doen.

Wir haben die Tage im Azores Haven Hill sehr genossen. Die Lage ist fantastisch, Hafen und Supermarkt fußläufig gut erreichbar und die Aussicht ist atemberaubend auch vom großen Pool aus. Das Haus und die Einrichtung sind sehr gepflegt und es uns an nichts gefehlt. Bei dei Anreise wurden wir vom Vermieter direkt an der Fähre abgeholt. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen.
