Caravan Hostel DC

I was staying at the two bedroom only female room. It was good in terms of providing toiletries, towel, and service. Some hostels want you to use a shared bathroom with all genders, yet in this place it is separated by genders (which is good!!). The staff is attentive when it came to issues because I had a problem with the tourists making noise in the evening. I complained late about the issue and I believe the staff did go upstairs to quiet down since I heard the tourists apologizing. The room was also clean. The location is near many food options available if you don’t want to go far. Another thing I liked about the place is that you have a code to get in your place and in the hostel which makes safety a top priority. The hostel itself is pretty good than a lot of hostels that I’ve been to as a solo traveler.

Probably how easy it is to hear others through the wall. Besides this issue, there’s not a lot to say it was comfortable! I would just think this place is better for a short stay than a longer stay if you want your own space and time to relax. Personally, i like to stay for a shorter time in hostels. 😃

Beautiful hostel, great communal spaces, very clean!!! Had everything you would need and went above and beyond providing free coffee in a morning, sanitary products, ear plugs and much more. Felt extremely safe, very comfy beds and the location of the hostel is in a lovely area of DC.

The pincode locks meant I did not have to carry around a key with me all day. They provided simple hygiene tools for free, for example, toothbrushes toothpaste and menstrual products.

I felt a bit unsafe at night walking back to the hostel. I never received my email with my door code so I stood outside looking for an email that never arrived, my code was in the guest portal, however if you say you are going to send it in an email send it in an email

The location was perfect! If you want to walk around bar and restaurant hop.

The parking suggested was expensive.

The Hostel I have been in my life. Super clean, confortable and great location.

Diego and Marta were two amazing people that were friendly to me the entire time i was there. Had a blast!
