"Very warm and lovely owners… who were eager to help in anyway, and make sure I was comfortable…"

The property is very clean… and has everything you need in the room which is beautifully and simply decorated…. with lovely white cotton sheets and mosquito nets… fan, Aircon hot water and coffee maker…. and only a short, three minute walk down a lovely lane to the beach .

A lovely, helpful family host this new homestay. Great location only 2 mins walk to the wonderful Mawella beach. Our room was large and well equipped with air-conditioning, fan and mosquito net. There is a small private patio area outside the room and a larger shared terrace with a comfy sofa. Wonderful breakfasts made freshly each morning. Very quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for making us feel at home.

Very clean big rooms - near the beach, just 2 min walk. The owner and her staff was amazing. Very kind and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty and big. Only two rooms and a beautiful garden, so silent and relaxing. Will come back. Thanks for a good stay! Regards Ellinor and Stone

Personal was wery friendly and helpfull. Room was quite and clean. Hotel look brand new. Hotel is close to the beutifull beach, about 100 meter.

"Excellent location and value for money with a wonderful local family."

Simplex sea place is in an amazing location less than a minutes walk from the beach, just behind Halcyon Hotel. The two rooms are brand new and sparkling clean with comfy beds and lovely en suite bathrooms. We loved more than anything though the family we stayed with- this is like being a guest with a wonderful local family( who also run the village shop) who made us feel so welcome. They cooked us the best meal we had in Sri Lanka! At the same Time we also had our own space- there is a lovely sitting area and back garden to relax and read in the day time . We stayed here as a base to explore the beautiful Mawella Beach, one of the best beaches in the area and also one which is safe to swim in all year round. We enjoyed having cocktails and meals at the local hotels on the beach and then returning to our little home from home at Simplex Sea Place. We feel we have made life long friends there and can’t wait to come back again to see them!
