Buyuk Truva Hotel

The hotel is right on the sea promenade with a beautiful view of the Dardanelles. There is a nice restaurant with a terrace. The statue of the Trojan horse is just a few minutes away on foot. We arrived by car, so we benefitted from the hotel's parking. Everything was perfect, so we will come back again.

Surprise: our room was upgraded; we were offered the suite!!! The suite consist of: -bedroom with living area; big TV that could rotate in position (towards the bed or towards the living zone); -lunch area; another TV; -large bathroom -2 sinks, bathtub with jets.

I found the hotel with a new face: the rooms were renovated, the furniture and soft inventory changed. Just like in the "old room", you can see the interior designer's attention to details. The new mattress is very comfortable.

The breakfast was fine. I would have liked a little more variety in fruit.

The shower nozzle needs repair. Most of the water comes out before it reaches the nozzle. Also, the bedside lamp nearest the bathroom does not work; the button seems to be missing.

Nice location near the center of town, and nice view at the sea. Good breakfast, nice staff at reception. Available parking.

Air conditioner was working poor. Even if outside were only around 30 Celsius, we struggled with heat at night.
