ROY HOMESTAY KUTA

Cheap and close to Kuta beach and town. Great for one or two nights. Nothing special but everything you need. Option for air con if you pay for it.

Rooms were a bit warm. But we managed with a fan. Bathroom was basic. But as I said everything you need.

The room was a good size, bright and clean, and a fan was sufficient in rainy season. The room was a very good price given that a breakfast was included. The location is away from Kuta centre, which was quite nice, but you might be more comfortable if you can drive a scooter - 5 min drive or 30 min walk to the centre. Note that Roy Homestay and Perwita Homestay are the same place!

There was a smell of sewage in some of the rooms (my friends were staying here too). There were some guys living in the room next door and constantly smoking right outside, so my room smelt of smoke.

Great location, delicious pancakes every morning w/ coffee or tea. Sorted a moped for us at a very good price.

Value for money was brilliant, it's a great place to stay on a tight budget. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Quiet place to stay away from the main town.

Room was quite dark. The toilet flush in our room was temperamental and had to be fixed a couple times during our stay (was sorted quickly though).

Second time staying there, I had to come back! Staff are the best, breakfast is great before a surf! Value for money is amazing and just out of the town it is so quiet but so close that it’s easy access to town! Love it!

The host is nice, the homestay is quiet, you can rent scooter, make your laundry and he offers transfers to airport and harbor at good price.

No so clean, the bathroom smells bad when it rains. It is not that comfortable, and is so hot, so book one bedroom with AC if not you will not be able to sleep.

Really good sized room and bathroom for the price. Roy and his family were amazing, everyday he would move my bike for me to make it easier for me to get our as a small woman this isn't the easiest task! I had a nice few days here and would come back. Good wifi for the area as well.

There's a lot of mosquitoes but that is also just the area.

Nice homestay a 5 minutes drive outside Kuta centre. The sourroundings are quite and there are a few shops and restaurants in walking distance. The owner is nice. When you don’t expect a palace for the prize of 7 euros a night you will have a beautiful stay.

In nature. Kind hosts.

Not close to main areas of Kuta. Very hot unless you “upgrade” to AC (do it).
