Ive stayed in most hotel in loverpool this is definetely the worst.put down in the basement.floors were sinking

Staff were very kind and friendly

The kitchen sink is worn out, this should cost less that £100 to fix, the bed mattress is sunken in the wooden base so it hurts to climb and get off. The water jug was too old.

I'm very disappointed with the staff at this hotel. I booked a room for two people and, at check-in, informed reception that the second person would arrive later. I even offered to provide his name, but the receptionist said all he needed was the room number and my name to receive his key. An hour later, I received a call saying my boyfriend was being denied entry. A different receptionist aggressively accused me of "sneaking someone in," despite the room being booked for two people. He spoke to me in a degrading manner, threatened to evict me, and even said he would call the police. When I questioned whether this treatment was related to the fact that I'm Irish and my boyfriend isnt white, his attitude suddenly changed and he seemed to realise his mistake. I'm embarrassed and shocked by how I was treated. I travel to Liverpool often and have always had positive hotel experiences, but the staff here were completely unprofessional and in serious need of training. This incident has caused a lot of unnecessary stress, i checked out early and booked another place
