LISA'S GUESTHOUSE

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION If you want to be by the water, it's definitely a good spot. Wake up at 8, grab a coffee at Veranda, get in the water for a quick swim, and walk back to wash up by 10 or 11.

NOISE ... if you are a light sleeper, I absolutely do not recommend this spot. Of course it depends on who is also staying and the people in the neighborhood but it feels like the noise is right in your ear. We had one very rude person check-in on our last night who chose to sit in the lobby (aka, right outside our room door) and take his work meeting on UX/UI designs there. At 11:30 PM .. with a very, deep booming voice (European accent maybe Italian or Spanish).. this went on until at least 12:20AM. I asked for him to keep it down around 12AM, to which he left the lobby to the main entrance .. but the problem is the main entrance is right outside of our window. One of the biggest reasons I chose this stay was all of the reviews on kind and helpful Lisa. However, Lisa , nor kind and helpful, was found during my 4 night stay (added one more night before arriving). Noone in the lobby, except her maybe-teen son(?) and somebody else who simply gave us the room keys when checking in while looking at her cellphone.

Room is super basic, and bathroom is so small it’s always a heavy air in both… Hostel clearly cater for Israelis, and they stick together very tight so if you are not one of them you are met with awkward looks in the dining area… Very laud late into night

The location was amazing. And Lisa is the best!

The bathroom can use a little bit more tender, love and care but nothing that would make me give her less than a 10 out of 10!

The people. Lisa is amazing, I didn’t only feel comfortable I felt like home. Her daughter and her son were also lovely and super helpful.

There’s nothing I didn’t like about the property, though the bathroom in the single room I was in could do with some TLC

Guesthouse has the perfect location - very close to snorkelling spots, bars/restaurants. There is also a paid spacious parking around the corner. Lisa was extremely nice and helpful, it's always great to feel that you are really welcomed and that the owner makes their business with soul!

A bathroom is a bit tight, and I'd suggest adding some hangers on the door and a shelf for shower amenities

We had a great stay at Lisa’s guesthouse. Our room was clean, with its own aircon and shower. The location is just perfect, sea is very close as well as sardines and turtles points. Lisa is a very kind and responsible person, always ready to help you with any issue, suggest sightseeings, restaurants and other places to visit. I will highly recommend this place to stay if you are looking for a good hostel at a reasonable price. Thanks to Lisa for support and hospitality!

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Lisa's guesthouse. She is an incredible woman – warm, affectionate, and I had the pleasure of engaging in meaningful conversations with her. Every Friday, she cooks for all her guests, fostering a sense of home and connection, which truly reflects who Lisa is! My three-day stay was both valuable and memorable. 🙏🏼🫶🏼

We really liked this hotel! It’s very clean, located really nicely - you’re in the middle of everything! the cool restaurants are just 2 steps from the door, and the beach is really close! of course, consider this if you want a long and not disturbed sleep - there is life around ;) I’m really impressed how comfortable the bed is, how many shelves and hooks for the clothes are in a very compact room! The water is truly hot, and the aircon works fine. Also there is a cool balcony on 3rd floor, if you’re lucky enough to take room 6 or 7.

The internet in room 5 was pretty average. We would really appreciate any agreement of the hotel management with the other owner for a parking. There seems to be some spaces around, however there is no one to confirm our bike won’t be moved or disturbing others. I also want to mention a small enterprise in a next tiny building - they switch on loud music in the evening (9-12 pm). But I just asked them to make it more quiet, and they apologized and lowered the sound.
