Guest Room Ichigo

My husband and I stayed in this second floor apartment for 6 nights. It’s in a good location, just a 650 metre walk from the Oita Station. There was a combined kitchen, living space and bedroom (with 2 beds) furnished with a flat screen TV, stools, and table, which was perfect for using our laptop and charging our mobile devices. There was also a separate bedroom with another 2 beds. The kitchenette was equipped with a small fridge freezer, kettle, electric cooktop and microwave. There was a washing machine/dryer in the bathroom/powder room with detergent, fabric softner and plenty of small, but clean towels. There was some good shampoo and conditioner and some Japanese skin care products which we really appreciated. There were several power points and USB ports in our room which was very helpful as we have multiple devices. We found the space very cramped because there were 4 beds – and no space to move around. The apartment featured a small balcony which was perfect for hanging out our laundry, but getting to the balcony was awkward as I had to climb over the bed which was blocking the sliding door to the balcony. We were able to store our luggage on one of the beds in the bedroom, but we felt that it would be better if 2 of the beds were removed. We were very happy with the friendly and responsive service from Miki our host. We felt that she went above and beyond with the snacks, drinks and toiletries. This is a great option for a central Oita stay.

The host was so sweet and energetic. She made sure to stay in close communication with us, and even helped us and directed us to a parking spot. She also made really good efforts to communicate in English for us. Her space was very "kawaii", and very comfortable. Had a washing machine and everything. Was also in a great location. Would recommend to others and would definitely come back if I am in the area again.

遅くのチェックインだったのですがとても気を使って頂いてありがたかったです。 ベットも広くゆったり寝れました。部屋も一部屋と記載してますが、仕切り戸があり2部屋になります。 お部屋も綺麗で、子供達は可愛い～と喜んでいました、2日目に泊まった高級宿泊施設よりここが良かった～とのことでした(笑)。とても清潔感があり快適でした。

部屋の入り口が分かりづらく、狭い階段なので大きく重たい荷物は少し辛いです。 部屋で荷物を広げるスペースはほぼ無いです。料金が安いのでそこは許せる範囲です。
