The Bear Bungalow

It was cool to stay in such a small bungalow. The bathroom was a good size and had a mirror. The fan provided was new.

The bungalows hot and stuffy, there is hardly any airflow. You have a fan but you need to keep the door open to allow for air circulation, we kept the door open at all times when we was inside the bungalow, apart from when sleeping. There is a slight damp smell at times but with the door open it quickly disappears. The bathroom light was just a colour changing and quite dim led light. When we arrived the owners were not there (we arrived just after 4pm in the afternoon) and other staff were not able to check us in.. so we was told to leave our bags and go out. We had been travelling all day and whilst we didnt mind going back out to eat it, it was just a little dismissive i guess. There was a lot of cobwebs in the bathroom that could easily be removed. The vibe of the staff and how things are run seems a little disorganised.

The individual bungalows were clean and spacious and the beds comfortable with a decent sized bathroom which was clean. The location is also not to bad with a short tuktuk into town. Very quiet and peaceful at night and have a few very friendly little dogs.

The rooms are just too hot to endure. We paid the extra for ac (we were charged $7.35 when we were told on arrival it was going to cost $5 per day) but the ac units weren’t strong enough to make any difference. We only ordered food once and would strongly recommend avoiding, it gave me an upset stomach for the hours following. Property has lots of potential if better ac and better restaurant on site.

Tiene una vibra muy tranquila, las áreas comunes son buenas y la gente que va al hostal es gente muy buena onda.

El aire acondicionado de la habitación no estaba funcionando correctamente por lo tanto la habitación era muy caliente, está un poco alejado a unos 2 km del centro pero si alquilas una moto es un excelente lugar
