As we entered the front door of Old Town Rhapsody’s living room, we discovered a property which felt homely and offered everything that might be useful to its wide range of visitors. The beautiful bathroom must have the best shower in Crete, but even that was surpassed by the fabulous rooftop bath, which was amazing under the stars! Maria and Tassos are the excellent hosts to those staying at the beautiful Old Town Rhapsody. They provided absolutely everything that could possibly be needed to make our stay special, and we were unable to think of anything more that they could have done to cater for our every need. Old Town Rhapsody is the perfect accommodation for anyone looking for an alternative to the predictable modernised properties currently available. Its location, on the edge of Rethymnon’s picturesque old town is perfect, being less than a five-minute walk to the crystal-clear sea, or into the immaculate pedestrianised streets, filled with traditional bakeries, kafenieos and shops.

We had a really great time at Old Town Rhapsody. The location is perfect, just few steps from city center. This lovely place in the old town of Rethymno had enough space for our 4 family members and it was very well equipped. We found everything we needed for our stay. The whole place was clean and comfortable. Our son specially enjoyed the tub on the roof. The host is very pleasant and professional. We highly recommend this place!

We loved this very clean, tastefully decorated and furnished, fully-equipped house that’s just a short walk from different types of beach and all kinds of amenities. The massage shower was super refreshing, both double beds were soft and cozy, and the outdoor bathtub was really a highlight—perfect for a relaxing soak under the blue sky, day or night. The rooftop dining and lounge areas, with their big sun umbrellas, were ideal for BBQing, eating, sipping drinks and unwinding while enjoying the view of the Venetian fort or just the open sky.

The house is cozy and very clean, the kitchen is stocked with all the necessary facilities for cooking, and the terrace is lovely. The location is also ideal, as it is walking distance from the city center and located in a quiet neighborhood. The owner is also very polite and helpful. I highly recommend this lovely place for anyone visiting Rethymnon.
