The Village House

Really nice and cozy house in a beautiful and friendly small village. Many gorgeus beaches only a short drive away. Amazing view from the house. Everything you need for a perfect holiday

We loved this property! It is in a village in the mountains. It has been thoughtfully renovated keeping many original features. We adored the decor and layout of the rooms.

There are very steep stairs which weren’t a problem for us but it would not be the place to stay if you find this a problem.

beautiful house, beautiful interior, beds very good, well equipped kitchen with washing machine. The bathroom is "cretastyle" ;-) but very functional. Breathtaking view from the roof. Many windows in upper story provide very much daylight, which we enjoyed a lot especcially on cloudy days. Allinall the house has a very creative, positive athmosphere.

The Wifi should be improved. For the price we paid, we can not exspect a perfect connection like at home, but when Wifi is mentioned as a feture of the accomodation, it should work basicly. Nothing else to complain!

I really enjoyed staying at Eleni's and Paul's. They met me upon arrival and took me to their place. They were very helpful. The place is very nicely designed, well kept and very clean. The kitchen corner has everything you need including small oven, tea and coffee kettle. Lovely view from the kitchen and from the terrace.

I was sorry I could not enjoy the terrace more, it was very windy, little cold and some rain, for May quite unusual.

The house is very cozy, an old stone house in the village, with an excellent view. The location is very convenient for a lot of amazing beaches in South Crete (Preveli, Triopetra etc). Eleni was very helpful, even provided suggestions for the road and how to reach desired areas. It was also very cheap, considering the location and size of apartment.

Some minor amendments in kitchen and WC would be great. For instance, although there was a fully equiped kitchen, there was no salt or pepper, or some coffee. The same for the WC, some portions of shampoo would be appreciated. This is minor, but important, as in the days I was there the mini-market and super market of the village was closed, and I should have everything with me. Last, although there is a WiFi in the house, the stone walls reduce the signal and I barely used it.
