FRLocation is 100m from the Bat and Arrow bar and the Spaarbank restaurant, the main meeting spots for most charter boats to the Mentawai Islands. The staff have plenty of knowledge of the surf industry and Padang tourist spots. Just around the corner is Padang Surf Shop for fresh tubs of tropical wax and second hand surf gear. There is also a well stocked drinks fridge for guests at reasonable prices. I stayed for five nights, paid for an aircon upgrade and bought heaps of Indo footwear and fashion from around the city. Travelling alone, I ate most nights at the Bat and Arrow with other surfers heading in and out of the โMentsโ. I recommend this place. โฆ Aussie/French review โฆ

NZVenus and the staff are SHL are lovely and so accomodating. They were extremely helpful with everything. The rooms are lovely and clean and you get a great view of Padang.
