Host and guide in one! We arrived and could immediately talk about what times and tours we could do. He was also a former ranger so he definitely knows the jungle by heart. We saw everything we wanted to see and the room had everything you needed. Would recommend this place!

Almost nothing, there were just a lot of ants.

Ruime, comfortabele kamer met airco. Schoon en mogelijkheid tot buiten zitten. Naast ontbijt ook andere maaltijden op verzoek, die heerlijk waren. De eigenaar is een goede gids die je zelf meeneemt naar het park en duidelijk verstand van zaken heeft.

The homestay is located right next to the entrance to Tangkoko Nationalpark and not far too walk to the beach. The owner and staff were lovely and the breakfast included was plenty (pancakes, eggs, toast, fruits), coffee, tea and water is available foc all day. We did two nature walks with Jenly, who has a lot of experience in the jungle as he was the head of the Nationalpark and wildlife police before he retired. He went out of his way to show us all the animals, a very passionate guide and lovely person. Definitely recommended. Rooms are basic but clean and comfy beds.

There was no warm/hot water which would have been nice, especially since it was quite cold after the rain. Some space to put toiletries in the bathromm would be nice as well as some extra power sockets (only one in the room).
