Bennett's Cottage

We absolutely loved our stay at Bennett’s Cottage, a quaint little gem in the centre of Kings Lynn. We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary, as my husband wanted to eat at the restaurant just around the corner ‘Liquor and Loaded’ again (a must for any visit!!). The cottage is easy to find and has a large parking space, which is extremely hard to find at other accommodations in the area, and the keysafe is on the wall just in front of it. The whole house is very well thought out, and we loved the attention to every detail. It is very well equipped throughout, with a beautiful spacious kitchen and the comfiest sofa and bed! If you need cutlery, it’s in a hidden drawer inside the deep drawer under the hob, it did take us longer to find than I’d like to admit! The large TV has all the usual streaming services and there is even a Bluetooth speaker to listen to your music. There is plenty of storage in the bedrooms, with a TV and small desk in each (useful if you stay for work). The bathroom has a wonderful shower, and sensor lights which are great when you can’t remember where the light switch is in the middle of the night! It is in a great location close to all of the shops and restaurants, and a two minute walk to the independent cinema which has gorgeous internal architecture. Despite being extremely central, we found the location to be fairly quiet. We heard people occasionally walking past but we really expected worse, it didn’t disturb us in the slightest. All in all, we wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be returning!
