Le Decime

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Sicily. The highlight is definitely the beautiful garden with its stunning view of Mount Etna. The swimming pool is fantastic: it is modern, very clean, and because it is shared with only a maximum of two other apartments, it feels very private. During our entire stay, we actually had the pool all to ourselves. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming. They are always happy to help and answer any questions. It was also very convenient that we could easily order wine, beer, and bottled water directly from them. Although the property is located a little outside the town, this was not a problem for us. There are plenty of restaurants that offer delivery, which was especially convenient as we were travelling with our 8-month-old daughter who goes to bed early in the evening. The apartment itself was new, very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable, including the baby cot. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely come back.

We honestly have very little negative to say about our stay. If we had to suggest a few small improvements, we would recommend adding a cutting board to the kitchen, as that was the only item we missed while cooking. The shower was a little low for taller guests, although the owners are already aware of this and mentioned that they hope to improve it in the future. Finally, we would recommend having a car when staying here, as it makes getting around the area much easier.

Friendly, helpful staff. A view of Etna. A swimming pool is also available. A quiet and peaceful retreat from the city. A place worth recommending.

Due to the humidity, there were a few caterpillar bugs. The parking lot was small for two cars. We had to park in front - it wasn't a problem, just difficult to get out when everything was occupied.

The hosts and the place are magical

Przepiękny widok na Etne. Pokoje czyste , klimatyczne , cicha i spokojna okolica.. Miły właściciel, chętnie spełnił nasze prośby.

W opisie była kuchnia ogólnodostępna, jednak po przyjeździe okazało sie ze kuchnia jest tylko w jednym z pokoi. Niepotrzebnie robiliśmy zakupy na kolację i sniadanie ponieważ nie mieliśmy gdzie jej przyrządzić. Właściciel dostarczył nam do pokoju kilka niezbednych rzeczy takich jak talerze i sztućce.

Il cortile interno con piscina e vista sull'Etna è molto bello. Gli ambienti interni sono spaziosi e ben arredati. I padroni di casa molto cortesi e disponibili.

Purtroppo le strade di accesso non sono molto belle. Inoltre, essendo in campagna, ci sono vari insetti.

Le Decime was a little escape from the busy hubs of Catania and Taormina. It was quiet and private. We loved the hosts Fabio and Georgia who were so helpful and polite. The pool was very clean. Facilities were good - especially for the price. Would recommend.

Nothing - just worth noting that you absolutely need a car or bike to get there.

Fabio and Georgia are so hospitable and relaxed. The pool with a view of Etna was spectacular. This place is incredibly peaceful and off the beaten track but very close to Etna, Taormina, and a nice beach. The room we stayed in was small but the privacy and cleanliness were first class.
