Gordon Town Kotch

Beautiful hostel with a big terrace, hot showers, very clean kitchen, great people, river view.. Mishka who runs the hostel is a great person. She helped me out in all needs and answered all my questions...the hostel is located in a great área to explore the blue mountains, the river and the Rasta Camp. I simply loved that place and the people and I highly recommend you to chill out there🧡

The village of Gorden town is very small and there is not really a possibility to get food after 6 o clock...but then you can always cook yourself 😉

The customer service by the Jamaican owner is outstanding! This was my second stay with Kotch Gordon Town. It's a modern home that was recently renovated to accompany local and international guests. The property that parallels a river that will lull you to sleep no mater which room you chose for your stay.

It was perfect.

The proximity to river and hiking! Lived the natural wood on doors and windows, and egg like hanging chairs.

It's beautiful and quiet with the sound of the river flowing. It is however on the outskirts of Kingston. Being on the outskirts is the reason for it being calm and quiet as well as cooler in temperature. The staff are nice but seem a little new to the job and they are still figuring stuff out. If you want a quiet stay within a short taxi ride of Kingston, this is a stunning place I would stay here again to get out of the bussel and noise of Kingston.

There should be a key box of sorts so as to make check-ins and check-outs easier.

Super clean and very comfortable, nice beds, very modern rooms and bathrooms with hot showers, listen to the river while you sleep and wake up and also sitting on the lovely veranda! The owner is very nice and so is the security at night
