The stairs inside the unit are extremely noisy. No washing machine.

This was a gorgeous house perched high above Amalfi town. The host was fantastic with communication and met us in the square to hand off the keys and help us with our bags. The home was spacious, comfy, and spotless. The also have three separate air conditioning units so the house was ice cold, a rarity in the Italian summer. We absolutely loved this house and will definitely stay again sometime soon!

As it is detailed in the description, getting to the house is no joke. There are numerous stairs to climb, so if you are in poor shape or have numerous pieces of luggage, this could be problematic. But we loved its location because it was a good distance from the noise of downtown.

It is a very spacious house. If you are staying în Amalfi and want a nice view, this is not the place for you. But on the contrary it is a very quiet space if that’s what you’re looking for.

You have to walk a bit until you get there. A lot of stairs which can be hard if you have a lot of baggage with you. Also it’s a bit complicated if you have a car with you.

The house is centrally located. Angelo is so interesting and kindly for us. He tried very helpful for everything. The house is so clean and have a good design. We liked the roof very much and used it a lot.

Only the upstairs are very tiring when carrying luggage. Stairs are almostly 90.

This apartment was an exceptional find in Amalfi! Perfect for our family of 6 with all the amenities. The apartment does not have an ocean view, however it has a wonderful view of the city and mountains. The location is wonderful, you have to walk up a few flights of stairs, but you do anywhere on the Amalfi Coast. This apartment makes you feel immersed in the city, with great restaurants just downstairs!

The apartment is newly renovated and looks great. Everything worked and had a very new feeling to it. It is located very close to the center but... has 87 steps that must be climbed to reach it (see other comment). The owners did help us with setting up a bed which was not made when we arrived and we also stayed just a little beyond the check-out time due to the difficulty in going up/down the stairs with my parents.

Although the apartment is new and looks great, please take note of the following critical points, especially for elderly people or if you have a lot of luggage! - In order to reach the apartment from the main street of Amalfi (which is the only way to reach the apartment) there are 87 steps, which are very uneven and not well lit at night... this is typical of Amalfi but must taken into consideration if you are traveling with the elderly or have large luggage. - The apartment itself does not have 3 bedrooms. It consists of one bedroom with a door, one double bed located in a loft (no door) and two single beds which are part of the living room and a curtain has been added to create some privacy. - The apartment has two toilets and one shower... all in 3 different rooms, but those are not 3 separate bathrooms. - Although it says that there is a parking location close by you MUST reserve it ahead of time. Also, this location is on the main street of Amalfi and in order to reach it you need a special permit to travel in the ZTL (Zona Traffico Limitata). Without it you will get a fine entering the ZTL zone (captured by cameras). Even with this permit you cannot always drive in town and the main street is extremely full during most of the day! - The other parking option requires around a 20 minutes walk (more with luggage or elderly people), although we were told it's 'just 10 minutes away'....
