Abbey Guest House

It was a nice clean quiet stay just what I needed. Owner and staff extremely pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Was upgraded to a double room at no extra cost and was able to park my car without any problems.

Perhaps could have done with more than one toilet but managed anyway.

Excellent clean shared facilities, fully equipped kitchen, easy on street parking, warm room, dark window coverings to keep out light, felt safe and secure, no noise heard from other guests. Regular cleaner visits. I imagine nothing would have been too much bother for Lorraine, a fantastic host! Definitely value for money.

I noticed traffic noise in the mornings but that's only because I'm not used to it. If I was to be picky then bed could possibly have benefitted from a thicker mattress topper.

Hosts really helpful. Immaculately clean. Large well stocked kitchen, fridge,freezer , microwave and cooker. Parking is roadside but never an issue.
