Kanaka House Ubud

I felt ill, and the owners were very caring, brought food, offered doctor, and so on. I am very grateful. The room on the 1st floor was simple, nice and clean Booking shows the map location close to Parq, in reality it was much closer to the main road and center, just 10 minutes of walking

The room is nice and clean, Suci and her family are very kind and helpful. They gave me breakfast every morning which was amazing. It’s nice to be close to the centre but not in the middle of it.

Lovely homestay near the centre of Ubud. Suci and her family are friendly and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. The room itself was perfect with a bathroom and toilet en-suite. The house is ideally located, a 10-min walk to the very centre of Ubud which means that it’s very accessible while being quiet enough and away from all the crowds. Suci can also arrange laundry and airport transfer service if needed. 10/10 would recommend staying in Kanaka House

Nothing

The room is spacious and filled with natural light, making it a very comfortable place to stay. The Wi-Fi connection is perfect, with no issues at all. It's wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. The hosts are an adorable couple, and they go above and beyond by bringing freshly cut fruits every day. On top of that, the room is cleaned every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy.

There’s really nothing negative to say! However, as a small suggestion, adding two bedside lamps would make the room absolutely perfect.

The owners are lovely and very helpful! They fixed with airport pick up and meet me when I arrived in the middle of the night. Wonderful people! The property is in walking distance to the town centre and the monkey forest. You can rent a scooter at the property and go to the rice terrace. It’s in a nice and calm area. Could eat breakfast on the terrace. The property is clean and fresh. It’s air conditioning in the room.

I don’t have anything that I didn’t like about the property.

I absolutely loved my stay at Kanaka House and I to stay again next time I am in Ubud. Suci is such a sweet and helpful host, she is so caring and attentive. Both rooms on the property are lovely. I stayed in the smaller room and it had a big comfortable bed, was clean and i really love Kanana House and the surrounds. Its a family compound with 2 rooms rented out to travellers. The temple, gardens and surrounds were so lovely. The breakfast brought to my room was great. Suci arranged a scooter for me and left an offering on the scooter for my protection. Its in the heart of Ubud but set back off the main street so really peaceful. Everything was perfect and it was definitely value for money, in fact I think they are offering it too cheap, its worth a lot more
