Grandpa’s cottage

Příjemný jednoduchý dům v postranní ulici, cca pět minut od pláže a 10-15 minut chůze je Lidl, do centra města cca 10-15 minut. Pečující hostitel, venkovní sprcha, hračky a vybavení pro děti, čisto, dostatek ručníků, dobře vybavená kuchyň. Starší, ale funkční vybavení.

Uvítali bychom pohodlnější matraci v jedné z ložnic.

The house is located on a quiet street. 1 minute to the beach, 5 minutes to the Lidl supermarket. There is a large terrace and a relaxation area near the house. Great communication with the hostess. We arrived early in the morning, but they allowed us to check in right away. Highly recommended.

The house is located on a quiet street, but it is very close the beach with a couple of beach bars. It is about 20 minutes walk from the center of Nea Makri where many shops, bars and restaurants are located. The house is very clean and has everything you need for a stay with your family. It will be great for families with kids, at there are toys, a high chair for children and baby cots inside and a play area for kids in the yard. There are lots of storage spaces, so you can remove the stuff for children if you do not need it. Several areas to eat or just to chat are organised inside the house and outside, so everyone could find a place for themselves in the house or in the yard. The kitchen has everything you need to cook some basic dishes, there is an electric stove, a microwavea, a kettle, a coffe maker, a full size refrigerator. When we arrived we had fresh fruit and water in the fridge, it was just what we needed after quite a long trip to Nea Makri. The host provided very useful detailed instructions and was available for questions all the time we stayed in the house, we highly appreciated it. One more thing that we really liked is that you can get hot water for the shower in the morning or in other situations when there is not enough sun for the sun heater. It is not always the case in Greece according to my experience. I will definetely recommend the house for family holidays. Everything is done with a lot of attention to each detail and the host is very welcoming and responsive.

It is important to note that the ceiling in the shower is a bit low - it was absolutely OK for us but it could be pretty uncomfortable for people who are higher than 185 cm.

Everything :-). The house is very cosy, you really feel like you are staying with your grandmother/grandfather on holiday. Our hostess prepared a nice fruit refreshment, which came in handy after a long journey. She was available if we needed anything. On the other hand, she respected our privacy.

Location is very good. Clealiness is over all expectations. The house is not new, but very cozy. The host is in close contact for all questions.

Knifes are not sharp. There is not conditioning in second bedroom, air goes from living room (room is without door) No beach accesorize for rental, you have to take your own (in other countries and locations they were available)

Totally perfect for families with children. Cosy, well-equipped, situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Close to the beach and Lidl market. A huge barbecue outside. Nothing to compain about. Definietely will visit again!
