La Pigna Sorrento

A beautiful and peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, this is the perfect spot to relax after visiting the Amalfi coast towns or Pompeii. The views over the bay are stunning, and the outside space is fantastic. A lovely spot to enjoy a homemade limoncello gifted to us by the family. The property is surrounded by lemon trees, olive trees, and has a huge vegetable garden. Rosaria and her family could not have been more kind and hospitable bringing us coffee,homemade jams and freshly grown produce. The flat is very spacious and is spotlessly clean and very well thought out. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Out of all the places I traveled, I would rank this accommodation as number 1 by far. I don't have even the slightest complaint. This place is like the area surrounding it..a poem.. a never-ending summer melody. It's cozy, it's beautiful, it's properly equipped with all the things you think you can need, and everything feels so fresh and new. And beyond all, it's the cleanest place out of all the accommodations I've ever stepped into my life. The hosts are great, warm, polite, welcoming, and hard-working people, and that's the only way how such a property can be so neat, clean, and organized. It is an absolute pleasure to sit in the morning and have your breakfast in the beautiful garden, in the shade of the lemon tree, while gazing at the sea. I would strongly suggest if you go there, to rent a scooter, and lucky you, the host can provide one for you from a local rental company right at the front door. I'm pretty sure they can hook you up with a car as well but don't do the mistake of renting a car because for sure if you go there you would want to visit the Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, the two islands, maybe Pompei as well, and going through that traffic, especially the one on the coast, and finding parking, it's a pain in the a** :D .. not to mention the prices you would pay for the parking. With a scooter, you fly through the traffic and you can pretty much drop it anywhere with no to very little cost. So having a means of transport makes the places you want to visit super accessible and fast, at an affordable price, not to mention that you no longer depend on public transportation for which you will spend hours in total to get, and they also constrain your schedule by theirs. This place ticks all the boxes and I would strongly recommend it to anyone going to visit the Amalfi Coast. Also, the homemade Limoncello was amazing... thanks for that again. Till next time :)

A nice apartment, new and claen with a small kitchen in which you can prepare a simple meal. The terrace is a good place to enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine. Two stations of the train to Sorrento or Pompeii can be reached in a 15 minutes walk. The owners are.very kind. The homemade limoncello was the best I ever had.

Even with a very small car the street to the apartment is a challenge, we had to fold the mirrors of our little C1. But there is also a secured parking place on 200 meters. It's a pity that we couldn't speak with the owners, they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Italian. Google translate was helpful.

Incredible location with the most stunning view, beautiful outside terrace surrounded by lemon trees and their fantastic smell, immaculate brand new apartment and the most wonderful family running it. We feel very lucky to have found this property and would definitely recommend it. It is a fantastic location for exploring, outside of Sorrento (not walking distance) so away from the noise and traffic but great for self catering. The beds were comfortable, the shower was good and everything was spotless. As we arrived late with 2 children the hosts left some food items specifically for them which was such a lovely touch along with some homemade limoncello for us. A truly special place that we will definitely return to.

As the road to the house is very very narrow the parking is about 5 mins (easy and quite) walk away, the owners met us on arrival and departure to move the bags in their very small car which was great but if you have small children or limited mobility this might be something to be aware of

If you love yourself you must stay at this place! the hosts are wonderful and so helpful and kind. truly felt like a family!
