Peaceful Riverfront cottage in small northland town

Great and quick communication with the host and great suggestions for dog friendly places to go. The view is amazing!

It was very cosy and clean, fantastic view and great to be able to do laundry (washing machine in bathroom) Hosts lived next door but only bumped into them by chance when I finally checked out.

Was alittle disappointed that the fireplace was not functional due to needing a maintenance service although owners did provide a small heater and house is very well insulated which made the stay warm/cosy. No doors on bedrooms so if you have an early riser then everyone else will be too.

I loved the view, the layout of the cottage, all the facilities, comfy beds and the bonus items the host provided for us for the baby/kids. Ie. baby bath, cot and toys/books. The breakfast was amazing and I’m so thankful to the host for delivering more milk to our large family in the rain at 8:30 at night when the Superette was closed!

Could have had some Hot chocolate sachets and we didn’t need the fire but couldn’t see any lighting materials. Sliding doors could be fitted on the rooms but it didn’t bother us for one night.

Beautiful cozy peaceful modern little home situated right on the Wairoa Awa. Loved the continental breakfast too, all the natural products and auper comfy beds.

Didnt like the no TV and no lounge chair to relax on but other then that perfect little whare. Will be back.
