Bad Oder upon arrival. Was coming from the toilet.

Was unable to locate the parking so wasn't able to gain access to the apartment. Found alternate accommodation so wasted the money on this apartment.

Very clean, easily accessible. Loved that there were just pin numbers to access the building and apartment. Rather than keys or cards.

There was some milk left in the fridge from November. A bit awkward not having a plug socket in the bedroom near a mirror. Other than that, all good.

I couldn’t access the property without being let in by someone else.

As above . The key pad to the main foyer of the apartment block wasn’t working making the property completely unusable to me as I didn’t go to Sheffield to be stranded inside an apartment for the whole evening. The owner was very unhelpful , saying that they could not resolve the issue and that the keypad to the main foyer was not his responsibility and was broken, therefore my only other option was to book another property incurring far more expense than the original one. The second property was further away from my event meaning I had to pay two taxi fees. The second property was not self catering meaning I had to purchase food. The second property did not have free parking so I had to pay parking charges as well as a more expensive hotel room. Very dissatisfied and disappointed to the point of not using booking . Com any longer .

The property itself is in a nice location,

I turned up at the property at 11pm only trying to stay until the morning because of my business meeting. Landlord did not provide automated instructions as to how to access the property, and instead made me chase him up to let me know the code. Once I arrived, the property had not been cleaned since the last customer. It was a state. Nobody had bothered to clean at all - we had food in pots on the stove, cups of tea, unmade beds, wet towels all over the bathroom floor, and a disgusting odor from the kitchen fridge. The landlord was initially non responsive before finally answering my call and apolgising - he only gave me back a refund for the property, and no compensation. As you can imagine it was a headache and very stressful and the cost of alternative accommodation when booking last minute was a lot higher. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.

Great location and comfy beds.

Cleaning could have been better as there were a lot of flies in the kitchen, a foot scraper with skin on in the main bathroom, and mould under the bath mats. There was also a broken switch in the bedroom.
