Place was very clean, looked like the advertised pictures, good ocean views and nice espresso machine.

Very windy and dust entering through bathroom windows, especially when not told to close them immediately after defogging bathrooms.

Location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and Doodles restaurant. The kitchen was well equipped, rooms were super clean and comfortable beds. Shower and bath options worked wonderfully for us. The whole place was just very neat and tidy.

There is really nothing to criticise

Location was perfect. Appliances and layout of the property was excellent. Info and communication before arrival by host was also exceptional.

The apartment was beautiful and everything you need available . The shops,beach and restaurants nearby within walking distance. You can enjoy beautiful sunsets ,peace and quiet .

The facility is well maintained, the room were very clean and what has been advertised on the picture is exactly how the place looks like with a beautiful beach view. The host are very welcoming and also catered for kids by providing kids board games

The host let us book in early because we have a newborn and also gave us many things to use for the baby like body wash, linen, blankets, etc.

The first thing that really upset us was that the host never mentioned anything about paying for electricity on her listing (both airbnb and booking.com) but then I was told while unloading all my stuff in her apartment that we would only get 50 units for 6 days where most people use 100 units or more a week during cold winters. I didn’t know this and only did research after. We have never ever been limited to electricity usage with booking.com or airbnb. Then we had to use the heater that she provided because the apartment was so cold for 2 nights and used up about 20 of her units. Only to find out that the main bedroom door was off the rail and letting in a lot of air. I put it back on its rail but even so it was very cold. But we couldn’t use the heater because it took too much electricity and she said we’d have to pay R6 per unit if we went over the allocated 50. She said that when she is there she leaves all doors and windows open - implying that we should do the same but the weather for the week was rain, wind and cold with absolutely no sun. We sat in the lounge and steam was coming out of our mouths! The way she limited us with electricity made us not want to use anything in the apartment. There is a breakage fee and she sent us a message after about a pillowcase zipper that was broken. If you run an airbnb you should take those little things into account because of wear and tear from previous people too. She did not charge us for this but I didn’t even see why she had to tell us about it.
