"Great villa, not so keen on the area."

Lovely villa, really well set out, comfortable, with beautiful plants outside making it feel very tropical. Great location, minutes away from bars and restaurants, yet quiet enough to shut out most of the noise. Really can't fault anything with the villa or the communication with the hosts.
Seminyak itself was all a bit much for me, far too busy and noisy - traffic is constant, and it soon gets you down. The beach areas here really suffer in monsoon from plastic washing up on the beaches, not a few bottles, but thousands of tons every day - it's heartbreaking to see.
