Loft Matteotti by Florence Sweet Homes

Chiara, the property manager, was lovely and responsive. We stayed in late April and it was quite warm outside. Chiara allowed us to use the air conditioners and it made the stay a 10/10. There were parks nearby for our 2 year old and we were able to get groceries easily. We are traveling through Italy by car. If you don’t mind being a 20 - 30 minute drive away from parking for the city center, it is a great find! We loved our stay. Oh and the pizza place nearby makes it even better!

This was absolutely not anything the property owner could be responsible for but one of the nights of our stay there were some loud drunks in the plaza with a bullhorn and a squeaky clown horn that they amused themselves with. Just unfortunate timing I’m sure. That was the only night we experienced a disturbance. It was annoying but slightly amusing to be honest.

the apartment is on 2 levels, from the kitchen you go directly to the bedroom, which has no walls or doors !!!!! it's a combination of old and new furniture, a bit unfortunate. I'm glad that the apartment was equipped with everything I needed.

the rooms have no doors, no walls, only the bathroom has doors, otherwise it seems that you are in the same room, there is indeed a panel that is placed between the "bedrooms". the windows are old, it gets cold, they are not sealed so you can hear everything from outside. could do better at cleaning.

A great base for trips to the historic center of Florence. About 12 minutes walk to the tram stop and then within 25 minutes in the center. Stylishly equipped and excellently furnished, very spacious maisonette apartment. Excellent communication with the host. Free parking space in front of the house or in the surrounding streets (pay attention only on cleaning days).

Maybe just noise from the street (cars, motorbikes), but we didn't mind.

The apartment has enough space for a family with almost all the daily essential items.

The lighting of the apartment is not as bright as n the pictures. The curtain rails on one window can be easily pulled off.

The Matteotti Apartment is the accommodation where you immediately feel at home. Everything was fine, the host had apparently thought of everything. Special thanks for the many delicious Lavazza coffee capsules. The beds were very comfortable. We were glad that none of us had to sleep on a sofa bed. There is 1 double bed and 2 single beds in the apartment. The bus stop is about 30 meters away on the square, the Florence city ticket is also valid here. You can even pay by bank card on the bus. Parking is available in the square in front of the house. We always found a free place.

If I have to say something negative, The beams are a little low on upstairs for a 2 m high person.

Beautiful apartment, maybe even too big for me and my girlfriend. Everything just like on the pictures. The location is not in the center of Firenza, but for me was just what i wanted. 5 minutes walk to tram station, and from there you have cca 15-20 min to the center of Firenza. Host was very helpful, with clear instructions how to get to the accommodation. If you do not want to be in the city hype in the night, but close enough to the center, then this is definitely the spot for you.

We liked absolutely everything about the property. Very spacious for family with two teens, perfectly clean, and with all amenities like in our own home. Location is great for exploring Tuscany, easy to reach Florence by tram, and the best part is calm surroundings after whole day in crowded cities around. Hosts are very kind and welcoming.
