Adorable one bedroom apartment with balcony

Beautiful accommodation and lovely owners, the apartment has everything you need and is very cosy. We got to see some deer in the afternoon and the view is beautiful.

Bed was a bit squeaky but a very very minor detail compared to the rest of the accommodation and it was still very comfy!

The apartment was both fully equipped with all the home comforts. Was surprised at how spacious it was, with the added bonus of a balcony which was fully appreciated with a beer on clear nights If you find yourself awoken early,check out the back field as the deer are worth the wait, whilst you are awaiting this the swifts will play aerodynamics whilst the sun starts to rise. The local shopping mall is only a 10 minute walk, as well as the town less than 15 minutes. Newtownards is steeped in history,from the time of the ancient burial mounds through to the Celts, Vikings & so on, if you enjoy an opportunity of walking try both the shore walk along Strangford Lough towards Comber or take a more challenging walk up towards Scrabo Tower. There is a bus station which will allow you access along the Ards peninsula stopping off at Greyabbey towards Portaferry or towards Belfast City.

A lovely apartment for a couple with a rural view. Cooking facilities were excellent. Host was informative and helpful. Main supermarket very close by car.

Quiet and modern place in the countryside. I will definitely come back when visiting the area.

Would have been nice to have had some milk in the fridge upon arrival.

Location / spacious / outlook / outdoor area/ well equipped. The big plus are the 2 dogs who made us feel right at home.

Not a thing …. Way better than being in a hotel

A comfortable, quiet, well appointed apartment in a lovely spot and ideally located to tour Strangford Loch and the North Down coastal villages, yet within twenty minutes of Belfast. Kevin and Jenny were very welcoming and we had a wonderful time. We hope to return fairly soon.
