"Great location, a few things to improve to make it a great stay"

8.0

The lock box was easily found and easily accessible. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately stocked for what we needed it for. It was in a fantastic location, close to bus stop to town, and had a great cafe and general store around the corner. It was a great location for us as it was just down the road from our family and the street, although crowded with cars, felt very safe to let the kids walk to and from their aunt and uncles, back to this property

The blinds in the bedrooms barely kept the rooms dark in the morning, especially the main bedroom as the sun shone straight into that bedroom, and the blinds were broken. Washing machine needed a bit of a clean, but it worked great. Wi-Fi cut in and out which was a bit annoying, but we did have UK sim cards so were still able to access internet when we needed. The back deck needs fixing and the back garden needed a good tidy up. We could not access it at all which was disappointing as we booked somewhere with a garden so we could get the kids outside and not have them cooped up all the time.

"Property clean and comfortable, good location."

6.0

Location good. It's the second time we have stayed in this property and it's close to family in Bristol.

The third bedroom - there was no blind at the window (we found it in the cupboard) and the light bulb in the lamp needed replacing but there were no spares. In the main bedroom the blind control stick was broken so we couldn't close the slats on one window in the bay.

"Great location and nicely renovated."

7.0

The location was central to were we needed to be. The rooms were clean an d adequately appointed. Key easily found and easily accessed. House was modern and nicely renovated. Bathroom was nice but downstairs.

We arrived on a weekend and wifi didn't work. We called the management company who weren't able to help. We eventually used the passcode on the unit rather than what was written in the instructions. No one contacted us to follow-up. Several maintenance items are needed. Doorknobs fell off, kitchen faucet wobbly, bath faucet broken so unable to take a bath (shower only). Patio broken, fence in rear of garden fallen over, lamp in bedroom needed a new bulb. Trash overflowing in front, schedule to put trash out was last years schedule. Parking was a challenge including builder refusing to move forcing us to have to back up the entire length of the street. He was very unpleasant and neighbors told him to back off and chill.

"It could be perfect!"

8.0

It’s a Lovely place with enough room for 6 persons. It’s Well located and it was ok to Park. It was also quiet.

Nothing new from what I read in the comments. It’s supposed to welcome 6 persons but there are only four chairs. The Bath taps are not easy to use. The water can be boiling hot and there are problems with drains. There is no wifi connexion. The garden could be Nice but is not in a good condition. A curtain is broken in one of the bedrooms. The most bothering is probably the fact that your messages are not read so don’t expect an answer if you have any problem. You’ll also be asked 150€ as a deposit just be fore your stay which might have been mentionned but in tiny letters. It was refounded very soon though.

"Adequate with comfy beds."

5.0

The location was perfect for our needs. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The host company were very easy to talk to.

I travelled with my disabled/autistic nephew and my Mother who is 81. It would have been great to be told that the bathroom was downstairs (in advance), as the stairs were very steep and this made night vists to the toilet difficult. There was no Wi-Fi and although the host company offered us a dongle they said £20 and this was not possible to buy without adding £20 of our own money. This made the trip miserable for my nephew. The house was a lovely Victorian terrace and you can see that it had been done up very nicely but it was very tired with damp patches and scuffs up the walls. Also the hand shower and toilet seat were broken. Added to this, there was an outside drip which was intermittent, did not come inside, but made you jump if you were using the dinning table. This could all easily be sorted with a bit of a refresh. A few things were a miss in the kitchen, only one socket worked on the cupboard side and so in order to make toast and use the kettle at the same side, you had to plug the toaster or kettle in on the breakfast bar. Tea towels would have also been useful. It is worth noting that the Host Company were not contactable after 5pm and this meant we could not complain on arrival. They did send maintenance people out but unfortunately nothing was able to be sorted during our stay. I honestly would say it is fine just to sleep in.
