Corfu OliveStone Village with Swimming pool

Located near Ipsos, the host Daisy is lovely, we received a basket on the first day with pastries and yogurt. The room is very large and new and the pool is very nice and clean. At first it is a little difficult to find the place but Daisy guides exactly how to get there and then you already remember the way. Wonderful hospitality! Recommend

The villa and grounds were immaculate. Quality products and furniture used throughout too. The staff were so welcoming and thoughtful with fresh croissants on the first morning to fresh peaches picked off the tree.

It is located out of town. So a hire car is necessary to get to shops .

Amazing villa in a beautyful garden

Very Dark in the evening, Unfortunately there was no light in the pool for the 5 days we spent there and because we asked for it the host made a post on her social media profile complaining about her “demanding” guests!! (See attached picture of the Dark garden) Also there were no dinning table at the terrace, it was delivered later

It was very beautiful and quiet. If you’re after complete seclusion and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle then this place is ideal. We were left fresh croissants and jam outside on our first morning which was a lovely touch. We stayed in Jasmine which was very lovely, spacious and private. It was nice to have a TV with Netflix so we could chill inside during the afternoon when it was super hot. This place is high up on the side of a hill so is very hot!

We were drawn to this place from the stunning photos and fabulous reviews of the owner but to be honest we were a little deflated when we arrived. Having just got married 2 days before and arriving on our honeymoon, we were not greeted by anyone on arrival and didn’t meet anyone who worked there the whole time we were there. It didn’t really feel very special and to say there are only a few rooms in this place I thought we would have been made to feel a bit more welcome. The photos were misleading showing images of the breakfast table outside the main house set with food. There was nowhere to go for a coffee at the hotel or to get breakfast which was a little disappointing. It definitely needs this as there isn’t anything to do other than yoga which we were not given any information on so did not go. You 100% need to hire a car to get to this place. Google says 20 minute walk down to the beach but in the heat and the condition of the roads (paths) and hills, this could easily be a 45-1hr walk. Most of the taxis have never even heard of this place and so without a car we would have felt extremely secluded and stuck. It’s also very hilly and not suitable for the elderly or disabled at all. Our villa jasmine was lovely however the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor every time we used it. We had 3 towels down every time to soak up the water. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable and I had back ache all week. I stripped the beds when we left and the under sheet was covered in long black hairs from previous guests which was not nice! There didn’t seem an obvious place to take the bins out and the bin bag outside actually melted with the heat which wasn’t ideal. The WiFi did not reach the bedroom and the outside furniture was covered in cat hairs every morning. There was just about enough equipment to cook with but the indoor plug in hob did not work and the outside bbq did work but took a good 10 minutes just to cook an omelette.

The accommodation was beautifully decorated and extremely clean There was lovely touches such as a bowl of fruit a bottle of wine and plenty of bottled water on arrival The following day a hamper was left with croissants and jam Beautiful views from the accommodation across to Corfu town The area was very quiet and relaxing but close enough to amenities and some beautiful beaches within a 5-10 minute drive

There was nothing to complain about it was wonderful The only thing that we might have liked was a taverna within walking distance but this didn’t ruin our enjoyment A car is however essential

Beautiful views, You definitely need a car to get to and from the accommodation which we had, the property had plenty of parking available. Rooms are beautiful, fresh fruit every few days. Staff are really friendly. Swimming pool was lovely.
