Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Kingsland

The breakfast was fine.

The furniture was very worn. The toilet was not seeded correctly although happily it didn’t leak.

The pillows/ the games and seating area out back. The staff waS wonderful.

How the shower was very tiny.

I just wish the rooms were updated and the tv was a smart tv.

Easy check in

Ac didnt work it was 78 in the room had to switch rooms the 2nd night an was moved to smaller room which left 2 guest sleeping on sofa which we had to ask for linens and were told they didnt have any an that we could go get the sheets from our 1st room which we had to get the key back from front desk go get the sheets OURSELVES then turn old room key back in. Fans dont work in bathroom which makes whole room steamy, broken tiles that move when you walk on them, layers of dust on walls, coffee grounds floating in the coffee at breakfast bar. We stayed here because we had a wedding to attend nearby and this was the worst place we have ever stayed at and i was told property manager would contact me and would speak to me before we checked out. i left my info twice and we checked out 2 days ago and still no call from management. Woman at the check out desk with the two toned green and pink hair was very rude when i asked to speak with manager because previous front desk woman said shed be there to speak with me when we checked out. She told me the manager doesnt work that day( hotel manager is off saturday, sunday and monday maybe thats why hotel isnt up to par ) i told her I was told by front desk staff the manager would contact me before i left the hotel she said well shes not here i stood there for a moment confused on how the hotel was going to make it right if i wasnt able to speak with manager i looked at my guest and then the 2 toned hair lady said loudly with attitude can i help with anything else i said no doesnt look like were getting any help and we left

The night shift was nice, the breakfast woman was very nice, and the area of the hotel is exactly where I planned to be.

My card got charged $200 twice plus the $50 charge the hotel said they didn't see the $200 charge but the nightshift did and was kind about trying to solve the problem but it had to be dealt with in the morning. Morning shift lied and said oh well it didn't happen and was rude, they continued to say its a glitch in the system so now I have to wait 7-14 days to get my $250 back that was never supposed to come out, I didn't understand why they had to be so rude though, also the shower wasn't cleaned and behind the furniture and underneath wasn't cleaned either and the dishes was filthy so it was literally like 5 out of 10. It was fair but not really fair. It is a nice hotel but morning shift and the cleaning team need work.
