Central Belfast Apartments Queen's Hideaway

The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. Well equipped with everything we needed and centrally located. Any queries I had before and during our stay were answered right away, the customer service was impeccable. The kitchen has everything you need for a short stay but if you don’t feel like it there’s an amazing little pizza place on your doorstep with the loveliest staff. Would definitely stay again next time we visit!

The sofa bed was not the comfiest but we swapped with the kids the second night and there was no complaints from them 😂

The apartment is beautifully decorated (just as in the photos) and cozy. Both the bed and the sofa are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped (really appreciated not only all the utensils but also olive oil and a variety of spices), and we really enjoyed the coffee. It takes less than 5 minutes walk to Queens University and approximately 20 minutes to the city center from the apartment, and there are grocery stores just across the street. Mark is an amazing host, responsive, and willing to help with anything you might need. We would definitely love to come back to this place!

I pulled the short straw and had the sofa bed, however it was easy to pull out and was fairly comfortable

Really lovely flat for overnight in belfast, nicely decorated, attention to detail and loads of added bonuses, the kids loved the sweets and crisps, coffee, tea etc also great, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Great communication and info for arrival and stay etc. Being Scottish loved the complimentary Scottish water. Hosts went out of their way to get travel cot for our stay which was greatly appreciated. Location is good, found it a bit tricky to get into the right place initially but got there eventually, probably the satnabvs fault! Thought it might be noisy with traffic but felt really peaceful inside. Had a shower, being on the larger side and having read a previous review about size, i was worried it would be tight, but no issues, standard bath and even for me was no issue, that must of been the hulk or something staying! Overall a lovely stay and a great flat in a good location.

There are a couple of suggestions that would have made it even better: a microwave, some tea towels and sponge for for the dishes/kitchen, a brush and shovel and an extra lock or chain on the front door would have helped give a feeling of added security.

Everything was fantastic. They had a little welcome drink and snacks for us. The room was great. Loved the interior. Staff kept in touch with us through messages asked is if we got keys, gave us instruction for everything! Highly recommend. Its close to all the areas so you can go by walk everywhere.

Very new apartment, everything is absolutely spotless, and it is extremely well equipped with basically everything you would need. Our host is incredibly welcoming and responsive, very kindly offered to introduce us to local attractions and helped us with any questions we had about the city before our visit, and assisted us with all the problems we had during our stay. We had a great time.

If you plan to sleep in the sofa bed in the living room, just note that the blind doesn't block lights.

Try your luck elsewhere. There has to be better places than this.

Please be mindful when booking that the reviews for this property may not be an accurate representation if bad reviews have been dealt with this way. 1. Location. Dodgy part of the city. 2. Building. Underwhelming, dilapidated apartment building with a horrible smell as soon as you walk in. It was unbearable like someone smoked a thousand cigarettes over and over again. I couldn't breathe and some of that creeped into the room itself. The apartment next door gave a hotdog smell - not a good one. Just terrible. 3. At one point there was no water at all an any access point in the apartment. No showers after a long day sight seeing and leaving for a transatlantic flight the next day. It came back on by the next morning but it was very stressful and unpleasant. 4. Poor wi-fi network. Unable to connect more than one device at times and slow or not working at all. 5. Very tiny bathroom. The bath shower combo was way too small. The floor of the bath was curved so it was not even enough room for a small person to stand comfortably in. 5. Terrible DIY job, it didn't feel as nice as it appeared in photos. Cheap finishes and furniture. A dining chair leg folded under my partner when he sat on it and he almost ended up on the floor. We could not wait to get out of there.

The cost per day was about 250 euro. It was a robbery for what I got

The building entrance was dirty, the apartment was extremely bad, there was no option to open the windows the window in the bedroom was sloppy and those in the kitchen werw impossible to close. There was a chair broken. No window in the bathroom and no way to turn out the light The pictures shown on booking were not reliable since what you find is different from what is shown.

Apartment is fantastic.Furnishings are great , extremely clean ! They have thought of everything. Owners instructions were excellent.
